International Coaching Course in Budapest Print

The Institute of Coaching and Sport Education (ICSE) of the Semmelweis University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in Budapest, Hungary is announcing a special international chess coaching course from 18th January, 2009.

ICSE is an international coaching centre accredited by the International Olympic Committee, and it has been operating for already 37 years. More than 1,600 coaches coming from 85 countries have received a coaching certificate on their international coaching courses since 1971. ICSE qualifications are recognised by all International Olympic Committee member states.

International Chess Coaching Course is a six-week program (from 18th January to 27th February).  Students will participate in a 120-lesson specialist chess coaching course and in a general module consisting of sociology, psychology and pedagogy, where the lectures will be given by professors teaching at Semmelweis University. Professional chess coaching will be taught by GM Gábor Kállai and GM Alexander Csernyin,  FIDE Senior Trainers.
